Compress photos and videos for email attachments, chat messages and smaller sharing copies. Choose how you want to reduce a photo, review the result, then save or share it. A family picture, a web image and a long video need different settings; the app brings those choices into one workflow. PHOTO COMPRESSION AND RESIZING Adjust photo quality as a percentage, cap the longest edge in pixels, or enter a target file size in KB. Quality mode changes the encoding setting; dimension mode reduces large images while keeping their proportions. Target-size mode searches for a smaller result and can reduce dimensions when quality alone is insufficient. FORMATS AND PRESETS Choose JPEG or PNG, or WebP when supported by the device encoder. WebP can fall back to JPEG if unavailable. PNG does not use the lossy quality slider, so reducing dimensions is relevant when you need a smaller PNG. Photo presets provide starting points for email, web images and avatars; review the settings against the destination's requirements. VIDEO COMPRESSION Select videos from your library and choose a preset labelled 1080p, 720p or 480p. Video settings are separate from the photo quality and KB controls. The estimated output size is a guide: duration, motion and source content affect the encoded result. Video processing depends on the native encoder being available. A PRACTICAL WORKFLOW Pick one or several photos, capture a photo with the camera, or add videos. Process the queue and compare original and result file sizes. Check the image preview before saving finished results to your photo library or sharing them through the device's sharing options. Library and camera access depend on permissions and device availability. WHAT TO EXPECT A target size is an attempt, not a promise that every source will fit. Already compressed files may show little reduction; lower quality or fewer pixels can change visible detail. Check the actual output before relying on an attachment limit. Saving a smaller copy does not by itself remove the original or reclaim its storage. The app contains advertising and uses Firebase Analytics and AdMob network services. Some quick target-size controls use a rewarded-ad unlock. Compression settings describe media processing, not a promise that every app activity happens without a network connection.
