Опис
Restore barn-find fabric biplanes in your own grass-strip hangar.
Ragwing is a restoration game set in a small grass-strip hangar where fabric-covered vintage aeroplanes come back to life. Your workshop takes in Cubs, Tiger Moths, Stearmans, Wacos and a Jenny that have spent decades forgotten under hay and tarpaulins, and sends them out again as flying machines with fresh fabric, bright paint and running engines. It is a calm, hands-on management game about craft rather than speed.
Every project starts with a wreck someone found in a barn. You buy it, wheel it in and take it through the seven stages of a real fabric restoration: strip, frame, cover, rib-stitch, dope, livery and engine. Along the way you make the calls a restorer makes. Authentic cotton and dope, or tougher modern polyester? Each decision moves the authenticity score, so you choose between a faithful museum piece and a hard-wearing machine for the show circuit. Finished aeroplanes join the flight line and fly the weekend airshows for gate money, which you spend on better tools, extra hangar bays and apprentices who work faster at their own speciality. Fabric wears, and tired aeroplanes come back for a re-dope, so there is always a job on the bench.
In Ragwing the airshow weather is not made up. The live weather at a real vintage-aviation airfield decides whether each show flies, so a windy, wet weekend is a good moment to catch up in the workshop instead. Every type you finish fills a page in the collector's logbook. Sessions are short, and the shop keeps working while you are away, so a quick visit is enough to set the next job and see what the crew got done.
