Purlfolio

Purlfolio is a cozy digital notebook for knitters and crocheters to keep track of every work-in-progress, from the first cast-on to the final weave-in. Open the app to find your projects resting inside a charming yarn basket, with each project displayed as a little yarn band card bearing the project name, craft type, and a color-coded yarn tail. An orange tail means you are still stitching away, while a grey tail marks a finished piece—no cluttered checkmarks or ticks anywhere. Adding a new project is as simple as tapping the Cast On tab, where you can fill in the name, choose knitting, crochet, or weaving, set the status, and jot down quick pattern notes. Once saved, your project appears instantly in the Projects list, sorted by the most recent so your active makes are always within reach. The Dashboard welcomes you with oversize knitted number swatches stitched onto a fabric patch, showing at a glance how many projects are in progress and how many are complete, alongside a scrollable row of your latest creations. You can favorite the projects you love most with a gentle heart toggle, and the Favourites tab gathers them neatly, letting you filter by in-progress or finished items to stay focused. Editing any project is just a tap away—adjust the name, notes, craft type, or status whenever your project evolves. When you no longer need a record, a simple swipe to the left unravels it with a soft red yarn skein animation, deleting it immediatly without extra confirmation steps. Every piece of your project data lives safely on your device; nothing is uploaded, so your ideas and notes stay private and offline. A search bar above the project list helps you find entries by name or craft type, making it easy to locate that one scarf pattern among many. Whether you are juggling multiple holiday gifts, testing a new stitch, or managing inventory for a craft fair, Purlfolio keeps your creative journey organized without pulling you away from your needles and hooks. The charming visual style—ball-band cards, handwritten titles, and tiny craft icons—turns tracking into a delight rather than a chore.
