7Games's Doodle Jump includes spring shoes as a power-up that, when collected, gives the character a dramatically increased jump height for a limited number of bounces. Each step launches the character noticeably higher than a normal jump from the same platform. Spring shoes are most useful in sections where platforms are spread vertically farther apart than a regular jump can cover. Without them, reaching a high platform from the one below might be impossible or require a detour through a longer route. With spring shoes, the gap becomes trivially crossable. Unlike the jetpack, spring shoes still require platform contact, the character still bounces from surfaces; it just bounces much higher. This means you still need to aim for platforms rather than fly freely through the air. The increased jump height also provides an inadvertent safety buffer. If you misjudge a platform and the character starts falling, spring shoes on a lower platform can recover the situation with a high bounce that reaches safer ground. Spring shoes are one of three power-ups in Doodle Jump and contribute to run variety. 7Games is fully offline with no account requirement.
