The private key stays on the phone in encrypted storage. FREE TIER • Free, supported by ads. • VPN time is earned with short rewarded videos: 3 videos unlock 45 minutes, and every 2 more unlock another hour. • Earned time resets at midnight in your time zone. • 1 device and 10 GB of data per month. ADS • A banner ad sits at the bottom of the home screen. Rewarded videos play only when you choose to watch one. • Ads never cover the ON/OFF switch or the connection status. • The app's own traffic, including ads, does not go through the VPN. PRIVACY • Simple VPN does not record the content of your traffic, the pages you view, or what you type. • For abuse handling, the server logs each outbound connection's time, VPN address, destination IP address and port.
