Naviro Crush

Naviro Crush is a puzzle game set on the deck of an icebreaker. Cargo crates are dragged along the deck to change how the ship sits in the water, and the aim is to keep the bow's trim marker inside a green thickness band that matches the next ice floe. The balance works in both directions. If the bow is too light, it rides up over the ice. If it is too heavy, it floods. Each floe needs its own trim, so the crates have to be moved again before every floe arrives. The game has 13 levels. The floes come faster as it goes on, the green bands get narrower, the crates get heavier and the waves start to rock the ship. A setup that worked on one floe usually has to be changed for the next, so each level is a run of quick decisions about where the weight should go. Naviro Crush is built around one idea: moving weight around a ship so that its bow meets the ice at the right angle.
