Sisyphus: Endless Climb

The gods condemned Sisyphus to push a boulder up a mountain for all eternity. At every summit Zeus sends it rolling back down, and Sisyphus walks down after it to begin again. Sisyphus: Endless Climb turns the oldest punishment in myth into a calm, hand-painted game about rhythm, patience and finding meaning in the climb. PUSH IN RHYTHM • Heave as the ring over his head closes. Five perfect heaves in a row and you are in the flow: a chord rises, gold light gathers round the stone. • Catch your breath before it runs out, launch the boulder over steep ledges and sprint after it. • Mud that sucks at your feet, scree that slides away, gusts that lean on the stone. Every hill fights back. A WORLD THAT LIVES • Four hills, from the classic slope to a windy ridge and temple ruins. • Every climb happens at a different hour: sunset, blue hour, starry night, dawn, noon. Moon phases, the Milky Way, shooting stars and rainbows after rain. • Seasons turn as you climb: falling leaves in autumn, snow in winter, flowers in spring. • On the far ridges a whole age goes on: armies clash, Heracles wrestles the lion, the Trojan horse is hauled to the gates, Atlas holds up the sky. A STORY TOLD IN 150 SCENES Meet Merope, who waits for him. Pass Prometheus on his rock and Tantalus at his pool. Their words change the climb, and the climb changes him. THE BOOK OF WISDOM Every summit reveals a new saying. 1000 sayings of the sages, from Heraclitus and Seneca to Confucius and Rumi, collected in 12 chapters. A saying of the day greets you each time you return, and any saying can be shared as a parchment card. MADE FOR A QUIET MOMENT • Calm mode: your breath never runs out.
