takeFT: Family Calls

takeFT is a calling app built for one job: letting an elderly parent call their family without any help. HOW IT WORKS Someone in the family sets up the parent's phone once, in person. After that the parent never sees a login screen. The app opens straight to a short list of faces. Tap a face and you are calling. MADE FOR PARENTS • Elder mode: large text, large buttons, no hidden menus and no way to get lost • One tap to call, one tap to answer • Calls ring on the lock screen like a normal phone call • A PIN keeps settings and contacts out of reach, so nothing changes by accident MADE FOR THE FAMILY • Link family members with a short pairing code. Nobody can call your parent just by knowing an email address • Each person has their own account, so several adult children can be connected to the same parent • Call history shows who called and when • Block anyone you do not want to hear from PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Calls are never recorded • No ads, no tracking, no analytics • Audio is encrypted on its way to and from the call server • Delete your account and its data at any time from Settings KEEPING IT SIMPLE takeFT is audio only.
