Retabet's Breakout introduces indestructible bricks in later levels, tiles that cannot be destroyed by the ball, laser fire, or any powerup effect, persisting for the full level duration. Indestructible bricks force the ball into specific rebound paths and create blind zones where other brick types hide behind them, reachable only through wall-banking angles. Because they never break, routing the ball to reach bricks blocked by indestructible tiles requires planning multi-bounce trajectories off walls rather than direct approaches. Levels with high indestructible brick density effectively reduce the accessible play field, making ball control and angle knowledge more valuable than raw clearing speed.
