The Duo icon on Android: battery, Wi-Fi and signal in one status bar icon.
Duo Bar draws one small icon over your Android status bar that shows battery, Wi-Fi and mobile signal together, instead of three separate ones.
If you know the Duo icon, you already know this app
You have seen it on the cover screen of Apple's foldable iPhone: one circle, a ring that fills with your battery, a Wi-Fi fan in the middle, four dots for signal. One glance, everything you need. Android has never had it. Duo Bar brings that idea to your phone, then goes further than a fixed system icon can: your colours, your themes, your size and side, and a tap that opens real detail underneath.
How to read the icon
The ring is your battery and shows a bolt while charging. The centre is a Wi-Fi fan, a 4G or 5G label on mobile data, or an airplane symbol in airplane mode. The dots are your signal bars. At 20% and below the ring opens to show the exact percentage.
Tap the icon for details
A card grows out of the icon with a battery and connection summary, plus your usage dashboard: screen time by hour, most-used apps, charger power, and battery cycle count on Android 14 and newer. The same dashboard is in the app's Insights tab.

Covering the stock icons
Duo Bar can cover the built-in Wi-Fi, signal and battery icons with a patch painted in the colour sampled from your status bar beside it. Fit it automatically, or draw your own shapes on a zoomable picture of your real status bar.
Accessibility service disclosure
Duo Bar includes an optional accessibility service named "Duo Bar touch". Android draws the status bar above app overlays, so an accessibility overlay is the only way to put anything on top of it. Duo Bar uses it for two things: an invisible, icon-sized touch area, so tapping the Duo icon opens the details popup, and — only if you turn that option on — the patch that covers the stock status icons. To match the patch colour it reads a thin strip of the status bar in memory, never stored and never sent anywhere, and it reads window titles so the patch steps aside for the notification shade and lock screen. It never reads content inside your apps and performs no actions on your behalf. The icon works without it; it simply cannot be tapped. Turn it off any time in Settings, Accessibility.
Permissions
• Display over other apps: to draw the icon over the status bar • Notifications: for the "Duo Bar is running" notification that keeps the icon alive • Phone status: optional, for signal strength and 4G or 5G. No calls or numbers are accessed • Usage access: optional, for per-app rules and the usage and data graphs
Privacy:
Duo Bar has no ads, no account. Your usage, battery, and network figures are read on the device, shown to you, and stay there.
Requirements:
Android 8.0 or newer. Covering the stock icons needs Android 11+. Screen time and data graphs need Android 9+ and Usage access. Battery cycle count needs Android 14+.
