Your bicycle has already been nicked. Your adventure is only just beginning. Kluut! — The Curse of the Noose Bearer is a pixel RPG set in Ghent, Belgium, built from real map data. From the Graslei and the Gravensteen to the Overpoort and the Citadelpark, your next discovery might be behind a door, in a conversation or down a side street. ★ EXPLORE GHENT YOUR WAY Walk through recognisable districts and historic interiors. Find hidden corners and learn Street Tricks to cut through hedges, shift barrels and take to the water. Use the city map to find districts, quest objectives, useful stops and fast travel to places you have unlocked. ★ FOLLOW THE STORY, STAY FOR THE LOCALS A missing Stroppendrager, seven relics called Stroppen and a city where something is decidedly off. Follow the main story or get sidetracked by dozens of side quests: the Cuberdon War, the Holy Sauce and the Eternal Thursday. Even catching a tram and queuing at Sint-Pieters station can turn into an adventure. Stroppendragers are Ghent's proud 'noose bearers': a nickname rooted in the city's rebellious history. Around here, stubbornness is a local tradition. ★ COLLECT YOUR OWN TEAM OF KREATUREN Meet more than 100 Ghent Kreaturen, from Duivelo and Kasseike to Frieteling and Tramspook. Catch them, put together your team and discover their evolutions. Sometimes nightfall, the weather or even a hangover makes all the difference. ★ BATTLES WITH A GHENT TWIST Choose your moves in turn-based street battles. Consider types and your surroundings, let Kreaturen work together and build up the Kluutmeter for a Kluut Attack. A pint might help. Until the hangover arrives. ★ MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME Name and do up your own local pub, with regulars dropping by. Go fishing, craft Kluutebollen or take on an odd job. Day and night, changing weather and passers-by going about their business give the city a different feel as you play. Play with touch controls or a controller.
