Find a station, follow a line and read the name on the signs around you. Dotori Seoul Metro is a subway map for visitors to Seoul and the surrounding metropolitan area.
EXPLORE A CLEAR MAP Zoom into the vector map without blurry image pixels. Drag to move, pinch or double-tap to zoom, and use a mouse wheel when available. Select one or more lines to highlight them and dim the others.
SEARCH IN YOUR LANGUAGE Find stations by Korean names, Korean initial consonants, English or romanized names, Japanese or Chinese. Romanized search tolerates some spelling variations and small typing errors. Each result has From and To buttons. Tap the station name to focus the map on that station.
READ AND COMPARE STATION NAMES See Korean alongside your selected language. A compact one-line station bar expands to show its lines and, where official timetable data exists, the first and last trains. Names include Korean, English and one selected additional language. When a translated name is unavailable, the app shows its English name. Open the large Korean name card when you want a clearer view of a station's Korean name. Timetable in the station details lists departures by day type and direction.
In Settings (gear), choose the screen language and which station-name languages the map shows: Korean, English, your language, or any mix. Map viewing and station search use bundled data. Optional location permission lets the app find your nearest station; without a location fix, it starts at Gangnam. Coordinates are not saved or sent to a developer server. No account or camera is needed. A small banner appears at the top; advertising and its privacy choices use a network connection.
COMPARE ROUTES WITHIN THE SUPPORTED NETWORK Choose From and To to see routes that consider both time and distance. One alternative is shown when its score is at least 90% of the best supported candidate. Some sections are excluded because their data is unconfirmed. Transfers without walking-time data get 10 minutes added only when routes are compared; that walk is not in the time shown, so the trip may take longer. Open Coverage details from the results to see the exclusions and reasons. Results do not guarantee the best route across the entire network.
The time shown is a local-train estimate and excludes initial boarding waits, transfer waits and express services. Where official timetable data exists, the app also shows the next train and the last departure on that route. The app does not provide live arrivals or service alerts. Bundled data may lag behind service changes. Follow signs and operator announcements when travelling.
Dotori Seoul Metro is independently developed and is not an official transport-operator app.
