My Book List: Book Tracker

My Book List is a book tracker for the books you own, the books you have read, and the ones still waiting on your TBR list. Point the camera at a barcode and the book lands on your shelf with its cover, author, page count and publisher already filled in. ADD BOOKS FAST • ISBN scanner: scan the barcode on the back cover and the book is added with its details. • Shelf scan: photograph a whole bookshelf and the app recognises the spines it can read. • Search by title, author or ISBN, or type a book in by hand when it is too rare to find. • Bring an existing library with you: import CSV, TSV, JSON, BibTeX, RIS or Excel files, with a step to map your columns. • "Do I own it?" mode tells you in the bookshop whether a title is already in your home library. ORGANISE YOUR COLLECTION Your personal library shows as a wooden bookshelf or as a list. Sort by title, author, date added or your own order, filter by tag or reading status, and search across everything. Tags work like shelves, so one book can sit in Fiction, Book Club and Signed Copies at once. Your book collection can be exported to CSV. TRACK YOUR READING The book tracker doubles as a reading tracker, so the shelf also records what you did with each book. • A reading log for every book: mark it To Read, Reading or Read, with start and finish dates and a rating. • A reading timer for sessions, so you see how many pages and minutes you actually read. • A yearly reading goal and reading challenge with progress you can share. • Insights: books per year, pages read, your average rating and your favourite tags. • A Currently Reading widget for your home screen. • Achievements for the milestones along the way. FIND WHAT TO READ NEXT Bestseller charts from the New York Times and Amazon, with an alert when a new book reaches number one. Ask for recommendations in plain words ("short mysteries set in Italy"), get a summary of a book before you start it, or take a quiz after you finish. READ WITH FRIENDS Add friends, see what they are reading, and start a book club with chat, polls for the next pick and group reading challenges. Invite people with a link. FREE TO START, CLEAR ABOUT LIMITS The first 20 books and 3 barcode scans are free. After that, Premium (monthly, yearly or a one-time lifetime purchase) removes the limits on books, scans and imports. Tokens cover the occasional extra, such as a summary, without a subscription. There are no ads. You can start as a guest and create an account later; with an account, your library follows you to a new phone. You can delete your account and its data from Settings at any time. Purchases are more reliable, including after a dropped connection. Devices that don't support in-app purchases no longer show an error. Adding a book now saves only that book, so it is faster and the rest of your library is left untouched. Library cleanups save more reliably. Brief server hiccups are retried automatically instead of failing. Deleting your account works more reliably when the server is busy.
