App Lock & Privacy Secure Apps

App Lock & Privacy keeps your private apps private. Lock chats, photos, email, banking, or any other app with your phone's screen lock, a separate App PIN, an App password, or your fingerprint. When someone opens a locked app, they see a lock screen instead of your content. 100% free, forever. No ads, no in-app purchases, no premium version: every feature is free for everyone. ★ LOCK ANY APP • See all your installed apps in one list, with locked apps shown at the top • Tap the lock icon to lock or unlock an app • Find apps fast with search and the A–Z side scroller • Every lock or unlock change is confirmed with your PIN, password or fingerprint ★ UNLOCK YOUR WAY • Phone screen lock: use the PIN, pattern, password or fingerprint you already use on your phone • App PIN: a separate 4–8 digit PIN just for locked apps • App password: a separate password just for locked apps • Fingerprint: unlock with a touch when using an App PIN or password • Forgot your App PIN? Verify with your phone's screen lock and set a new one ★ SMART AUTO-LOCK • Choose when an app locks again after you leave it: immediately, after 2, 5, or 10 minutes • Locking your phone or turning off the screen locks every app straight away • Too many wrong attempts pause unlocking for 30 seconds ★ PROTECT APP LOCK ITSELF • Ask for unlock every time App Lock is opened, so no one else can change your locks • Optional uninstall protection stops others from removing App Lock to get around your locks ★ ALWAYS FREE, NO ADS • Completely free, with no hidden costs and no subscriptions • No ads, ever: nothing pops up or gets in your way • All features are unlocked for everyone ★ LIGHT AND PRIVATE • Runs quietly in the background and uses very little memory and battery • Starts automatically after your phone restarts • Dark theme, also used on the lock screen • No account and no tracking • Your PIN and password are stored only on your phone, as a secure one-way hash. Nothing leaves your device. ★ PERMISSIONS WE ASK FOR, AND WHY • Usage access: to know which app you open, so locked apps can be protected • Display over other apps: to show the lock screen on top of a locked app • Run in background (battery optimisation): so Android doesn't stop the lock from working • Notifications: shows a small, silent status notification while protection is on • Device admin (optional): only used for uninstall protection. App Lock uses no other device admin powers, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings. App Lock & Privacy does not read your messages, photos, or anything inside your apps. It only checks which app is on screen. Have a question or idea? Follow us on Instagram and YouTube, linked from the app's menu.
