Allow notification access and the phone permission when FlashNudge asks; each step says what it is for first. 2. Choose the apps that should flash and set the speed. 3. Tap Test flash to see it. 4. Put the phone down. When a call or a message comes in, the flash blinks. Permissions and privacy Notification access: FlashNudge sees only which app posted a notification and its type, never what it says. Notification text is never read, stored or sent. Phone: used only to know that a call is ringing, so the flash starts and stops with the call. No numbers, no call history. Display over other apps (optional): only for the screen flash, and only if you turn it on. Keep awake: only while a flash plays, so a short pattern isn't cut off. FlashNudge never reads, stores or sends what a notification says, and there is no account. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob and Unity Ads, which receive device data such as the advertising ID (with your consent where the law requires it). The one-time Pro purchase removes every ad. Your settings stay on this phone; save them to a file (with an optional password) or delete everything in Settings at any time. Reliability After a restart Android reconnects FlashNudge by itself, with no background service. A reliability check shows every permission, and if notification access is ever lost, FlashNudge tells you with one notification. Needs Android 6 or newer.
