Is 12 degrees cold? Depends on who you ask. IsCold shows the weather where you are, and one tap a day teaches it how cold or warm that weather feels to you.
A DAY WITH ISCOLD
1. Open the app to see today's feels-like temperature, the actual temperature, the humidity and the wind, and how much warmer or cooler it is than yesterday.
2. Tap how the day felt, from Freezing to Sweltering.
3. Your taps add up to an IsCold Score from 1 to 10, a number for how cold-sensitive you are.
4. Look back over the last 7 days to see how the weather felt to you.
WHAT YOU SEE
- Feels-like and actual temperature, humidity and wind for where you are
- Celsius or Fahrenheit, picked in Settings
- Today compared with yesterday, in degrees
- Five levels, one tap. Forgot a day? You can still log yesterday.
- Your IsCold Score, in Settings
- A daily reminder, 7 PM by default. Pick another time or turn it off in Settings.
- English, Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese, matching your phone's language
WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
The weather card shows the data as it comes in. IsCold doesn't adjust the forecast for you, and your taps only go into your Score and your history.
YOUR DATA
IsCold is free, with no ads, no in-app purchases and nothing to sign up for.
To get the weather, the app sends your phone's coordinates to Open-Meteo every time it refreshes. Open-Meteo is a separate service, and we do not receive or keep a copy. Your taps, your Score and up to 30 days of history are saved only on your phone, and Reset All Data in Settings clears them.
During setup, the app asks for location and, on Android 13 and newer, notifications, using the standard Android prompts.
