Strum guitar chords and play a virtual guitar! Has MIDI out and export & MPE.
"Guitar Chord Strum Midi Synth" also known as guitarchord or midichord is a virtual instrument that lets you play the guitar on your Android phone.
-You can record your performance and play it back, export it as a MIDI file to import into other programs like your DAW, and use it to send MIDI out over USB-OTG MIDI adapters to a synthesizer or MIDI interface.
-It features a strumming plate where each string can be individually plucked, and chords can be saved to the chord box, and then be exported or imported via the clipboard.
-You can extend the regular 6-string guitar to 7-string, and 8-string, with the two additional low strings, and even 9-string and 10-string, with two additional high strings.
-You can enable frets below the 0th fret, and up to 24 frets per string, with 12 showing by default to have the fret buttons be large enough to fret.
-Strings can be tuned individually to arbitrary tunings, and there are modes which allow tapping, MIDI MPE pitchbend per string with MPE supporting outboard gear / virtual instruments for pitch bent chord transitions.
-There is also a "chords in the key" bar chord mode to play the regular I ii iii IV V vi 7thdim chords, with highlighting of the major root and relative minor root.
-And, an awesome feature, you can save custom chords to whatever fret markers you want, while stacking up to four chords per fret marker which cycle in order.
-You can also insert chords based on the chord name, and insert chords based on loading a chord and lyric sheet. And the pitchbend wheel lets you select between 2, 1, 4, 3, semitones, and also 3up/2down, and 2up/1up (A) modes. Since MIDI export is a feature, there is a metronome which flashes brightly on the 1's and dimly on the 2, 3, and 4, assuming a 4/4 time signature, so that your exported MIDI can be in sync with the set BPM.
-And, guitarchord / midichord is also an omnichord style instrument as well with four octaves of strings, customizable fourth and fifth chord rows based on a small piano input, with a note sequencer and song sequencer, which can export and import MIDI files and export and import the song sequence via the clipboard.
-There is also an XYPAD style note matrix input which features transposition of individual note pads, and an assortment of scales for the XYPAD including major, harmonic and melodic minor, the various modes (ionian, aeolian, lydian, etcetera), and other scales like major and minor pentatonic. And of course, midichord / guitarchord supports transposition, octave shifts, and variable audio sustain and midi-note sustain.

new update: guitarchord now has a 3x4 to 4x5 sized relative interval pad that works to play an interval relative to the last strummed note on the strumplate on the main non guitar-screen accessible via the "M" button to the right of the "R" button. and the blue mode of the "M" button has pitchbends for those relative intervals so you can make some gnarly sounds! the up and down arrows most immediately to the right of the "M" button allow you to change the interval of the pad you pressed recently
