Açıklama

Tune a guitar or ukulele by mic or by ear. Drop D, Open G, DADGAD and more.

Tune your guitar or ukulele with the phone's microphone or by ear. Play one string and the screen shows the note, the string number and how many cents it is off. This guitar tuner has eight tunings built in: standard, half step down, Drop D, Drop C, Open G, Open D, DADGAD and soprano ukulele. Pick a tuning with the button at the bottom of the screen. The list shows the notes of each tuning and the music it suits, so you can check that your Open D is the one the song needs. Then pluck the strings one at a time near the phone. When a string holds within 5 cents for half a second, the screen says “in tune”. To tune by ear, tap a string in the bottom row and the app plays its reference pitch. • Standard E A D G B E and half step down (E♭) • Drop D and Drop C for rock and metal • Open G, Open D and DADGAD for slide, blues and folk • Ukulele G C E A with the high G • The note and the string number together, so you can tell the two E strings apart • Deviation in cents and a pointer you can read without relying on colour • The screen stays on while you tune • Silent mode hides the hints but keeps the warnings • Light and dark theme • In English, Russian and Polish Thin strings break easily, so the app warns you when a string is overtightened. If a reading is more than a semitone above the target, the pointer disappears and the app asks you not to tighten any further. It may be the wrong string, or a tuning higher than the one you need. A possible octave error gets its own warning. Switching to Drop D or any other tuning below standard asks you first, because the strings will slacken. If the sound is too quiet, too short or too noisy, the guitar tuner shows “not enough signal” instead of naming the nearest string. Good to know The microphone is used only to find the pitch. Nothing is recorded or stored. The app has no internet permission and works offline. A phone microphone is less accurate than a clip-on tuner, especially in noise, so tune in a quiet room and keep the phone close to the instrument. An acoustic guitar is usually loud enough. An unplugged electric guitar is quiet: hold the phone near the strings or play through an amp. The app listens for the strings of the chosen tuning and does not name every note the way a chromatic tuner does. Bass and custom tunings are not included. Concert pitch is fixed at A = 440 Hz. The main screenshot was taken in the built-in demonstration mode. Independent development: one person builds and maintains this app. A letter to [email protected] is read by that person, not by a support desk.

Yenilikler

New look: a half-circle scale with the note large in the middle, the strings as round buttons, and “in tune” as a word in a capsule once the note holds. Info and settings are icons in the top bar, and button labels are no longer in capitals.
