LeoVestraPlay — SLUICEWRIGHT Become the lock-keeper of a narrow canal where every second of the tide matters. Raise and lower water, seal and open mitre gates, and guide a mixed convoy from the upstream crown down to the sea sill before the tide window closes. HOW THE LOCK WORKS Three lock basins sit between four mitre gates. Water can be raised or lowered only while both gates on that basin are sealed. A gate opens safely only when the water on both sides is equal. Hulls drift forward on their own whenever an open channel leads into an empty, clean basin. Misread the levels and the canal punishes you — gently at dawn, harshly in a spring tide. HULL TYPES • Packet Skiff — quick and light, modest toll • River Barge — slower traffic with a richer payout • Hazmat Cistern — high risk, high toll. When it leaves a basin, that chamber is tainted until you flush it by changing the water with both gates sealed TIDE WINDOWS • Calm Dawn — four hulls, longer clock; unequal gates simply refuse to open • Rising Storm — six hulls; forcing unequal water steals precious seconds • Spring Tide — eight hulls; a mismatched open gate can flood the deck and end the shift SCORING AND GOALS Clear the quota before the tide clock hits zero. Each hull adds its toll to your score. Leftover seconds boost your total, and a clean-passage bonus rewards shifts with no surge taxes. Track crest scores for every tide window and try to beat your own best run.
