Gioviale Rush

Gioviale Rush is the host's tool for turning a roomful of people into fair teams and a proper tournament, instead of the usual huddle where the same three friends end up on the same side every time. It starts with the roster. You type in the names of everyone who turned up, then tap the stars beside each one to rate how strong that player is at the mini-games you have in mind. Gioviale Rush takes those ratings and snake-drafts the teams, alternating the picks so the strong and the less practised are spread evenly. A live balance meter sits above the line-ups and shows you how level the sides really are. If something looks off, or if two people simply must be on the same team, you can reshuffle the whole draft or swap players by hand, one at a time, and watch the meter respond as you go. From there the app builds the fixture list. Choose your team size, how many rounds you want to play and which scoring mode suits the evening, and Gioviale Rush generates the full round-robin: every team against every other, laid out in order so nobody is left standing about wondering who they play next. The matchups become your running order for the night, whatever the mini-games happen to be — a round of charades, a relay in the garden, a quiz, a round of cards. Scoring is a single tap. When a matchup finishes, you tap the team that won, and the result drops straight into the standings table. The table keeps wins, points and win rate for each team, and also for each individual player, so you can see who has been carried and who has been carrying. The standings update live as the rounds go by, which means you can hold them up at any point and settle an argument on the spot. Because the skill ratings, the balance meter and the manual swaps all stay available, the whole party can be organised in a minute or two and adjusted the moment a latecomer appears. Gioviale Rush suits birthdays, office away-days, family gatherings, sports club socials, classroom activity afternoons and any evening where somebody has to be the referee. It handles the admin — the drafting, the fixtures and the sums — and leaves you free to actually join in and play.
