Kitten Ferry

Kitten Ferry is an offline logic puzzle built in the classic river crossing puzzle style. The theme follows a pirate captain cat sailing a small boat between the West Dock and the East Dock. Your goal is to move every passenger from the West Dock to the East Dock. The captain cat must stay on the boat whenever it sails. Each boat crossing counts as one move. The boat can carry the captain plus 1, 2 or 3 passengers depending on the selected level. Some levels include a raft weight limit: the captain weighs 2 and total cargo must stay within the limit. A barrel weighs 3, a crab weighs 2, and smaller passengers weigh 1. Certain passengers cannot be left alone together without the captain present. Example pairs include the seagull and the fish, or the fish and the bait. In crab-focused levels, crabs must never outnumber kittens on a shore when the captain is absent. If a rule is broken after a crossing, the game explains the violation and you may undo the last move or restart the puzzle. Passengers include seagull, fish, bait, pearl, shell, kittens named Miso, Nori and Taro, coloured crabs and a barrel. The game contains 10 handmade levels. The level names are First Crossing, Extra Pearl, Wide Skiff, Busy Harbor, Kitten Count, Crab Crowd, Jealous Tide, Longboat Lesson, Two-Seat Raft and Storm Finale. All ten handmade levels are available from the start. There is also a Daily Ferry puzzle. One puzzle is available each day, the same puzzle for all players. The daily puzzle is built on the device from a handmade base with passengers shuffled, so it works offline. The game computes the minimum number of moves required for each puzzle and displays that value. You receive 3 stars for solving the puzzle in the minimum move count, 2 stars if you use up to 2 extra moves, and 1 star for all other valid solutions. Controls work by tapping a passenger to board or leave the boat. Passengers stay on the boat until you tap them off. Tap the Sail button to make the boat cross between docks. The app includes unlimited undo across the whole history of the level, a restart function and a Rules screen. The game supports English and Traditional Chinese. Language selection can be changed inside the game. The game works offline, needs no account or sign-in, and collects no personal data. Progress and settings stay only on your device.
