Map your electrical panel, test each breaker and find the right one fast
BreakerMapper maps your electrical panel and tells you which breaker controls what, so you know where to go when a label is missing or the kitchen goes dark.
BreakerMapper draws your electrical panel as numbered columns so you can build a circuit breaker map and check it against your home. Tap a slot to record a single, double 240 V, tandem or main breaker and what it powers. Add the amps, GFCI or AFCI protection, and a photo. Walk me through it guides you through mapping one slot at a time.
For more detail, turn on Professional detail to record wire sizes and multi-pole breakers, including three-pole, triplex and quad types. Rapid entry lets you work from the keyboard.
Check your panel labels with the switch-off test. Turn off one breaker, then tick everything that stopped working. BreakerMapper corrects the labels and records when the test was done and by whom. Alerts flag frequent trips, breakers left off and breakers that have not been tested.
Search for refrigerator, kitchen or breaker 18 and get the location, panel and slot. Link subpanels to their feeding breakers. Landlords can map separate properties, and electricians can leave a clear breaker schedule after a job.
The free version includes one location, two panels and all mapping features. Export as text, CSV, Markdown or a room-by-room switch-off list, and make a one-file backup with photos. Try the built-in sample home before mapping your own panel.
Pro is a one-time purchase with unlimited locations and panels. It adds a printable PDF schedule, a panel-door card, an editable feeder diagram and a spreadsheet for all locations.
Your records stay on your device, and breaker photos have their location data removed. You can back up to a single file; Android backup can also restore your panels on a new phone. There are no ads and no account is required.
BreakerMapper is not a voltage tester. A breaker marked tested means someone switched it off and checked what stopped; it does not mean a circuit is safe to work on. Use a voltage tester and a licensed electrician.
