Got a .hwp file and nothing opens it? HWP is the format of Hangul, the word processor used across Korean companies, schools, and government offices. HWP Viewer opens those files on your phone, and turns them into PDF so you can read them anywhere. Tables, equations, images, and two-column layouts are laid out as in the original. Fonts missing on your device are replaced with similar ones, so a page may look slightly different. We tested 114 real Hangul documents and every one of them opened. No sign-in, and no in-app purchases. ■ What you can do - Open Hangul documents (.hwp, .hwpx). - Open older files too (HWP 3.0). - Pinch to zoom, double-tap to enlarge. - Export to PDF and save or share it. - Print documents right away. - Open HWP files shared from other apps. ■ Files it cannot open - Files larger than 200 MB. - Password-protected documents. Remove the password first, then open the file. ■ Permissions The internet connection is used only to show ads, send usage statistics and receive app settings (ad on/off switches and the "More apps" list). The advertising ID is used only for ads and usage statistics. Documents are opened and converted on your device and are not sent to our servers. When you choose to save, share or print, the PDF or document goes to the storage location, app or print service you pick. This product was developed with reference to the publicly released HWP document file (.hwp) specification from Hancom.
