Text Math

Build confidence with mental arithmetic, one problem at a time. Text Math generates short practice sessions and shows two ways to reach each answer, helping you explore number relationships and compare approaches. PRACTICE AT YOUR PACE Choose a workout of 3, 5, or 10 problems covering addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions. Take up to three attempts at each problem, ask for a hint, and review the solution afterward. EXPLORE DIFFERENT METHODS Practice strategies such as regrouping, rounding and compensating, splitting numbers by place value, and connecting multiplication with division. Step-by-step explanations focus on understanding how the arithmetic works. CUSTOMIZE YOUR SESSION Use an optional solve timer or blind entry, which hides digits as you type. Division problems with remainders let you enter both a quotient and a remainder. REVIEW AND EXPORT RATINGS Rate problems Good or Bad and keep up to 200 rated problem snapshots on your device. Copy, share, or save your ratings as a JSON export to a destination you choose. OFFLINE AND PRIVATE Problems are generated on your device. No account, ads, analytics, or AI service is required. Settings and ratings stay locally in the app unless you choose to export them. Text Math is designed for teens and adults who want to practice mental arithmetic and build number sense.
