Tagnib: NFC Tag Reader/Writer

Tagnib is an NFC tag reader and writer that speaks plain words. Hold a sticker or card to the back of your phone and see what it does: open a web link, join Wi-Fi, save a contact. Then write your own in a few taps. READ IN PLAIN WORDS As an NFC tag reader, Tagnib shows what is stored: a web link, Wi-Fi, a contact card (vCard), text, a phone number or text message, an email, a place on the map, an app record or a Tagnib recipe. Open the link, join the network or save the contact right from the result. ABOUT THIS TAG Every read also shows the chip type (such as NTAG213, 215 or 216), whether it can be written or is locked, whether a password is set, the serial number (UID) and how many bytes are used and free. The Technical tab adds technologies, ATQA, SAK, NDEF type, record count and hex bytes. FIND YOUR NFC SPOT The NFC antenna is not in the same place on every phone. Tagnib shows where to hold the sticker, lets you save your spot (top, middle or bottom of the back) in Settings, and explains the 4 most common reasons a read fails. WRITE NFC TAG CONTENT Write a link, Wi-Fi (WPA2, WEP or open), a contact card, text, a number to call or text, or a place on the map. A live byte meter shows whether it fits on your tag before you write. On ready-to-use tags, Tagnib reads the chip back after writing and compares it, so you know the write worked. Need more? Write the same to another tag right away. WI-FI FOR GUESTS Put your Wi-Fi on a sticker so guests join without typing. Tagnib also makes a Wi-Fi QR code for guests whose phone has no NFC. NFC BUSINESS CARD Make a contact card (vCard 3.0) and write it to a card or sticker. Share the same card as a QR code or as a .vcf contact file. Free includes one card. 12 READY-MADE RECIPES One tap runs a small routine. Free: guest Wi-Fi and a review link. Pro adds 10 more, such as bedside Do Not Disturb with an alarm, laundry and tea timers, desk focus, plant watered and medicine taken logs, a playlist link and call home. Recipes use your phone's Clock app and Do Not Disturb, only with your permission. A phone without Tagnib that taps a recipe sticker is taken to Tagnib on Google Play. TOOLS Free: erase, format a new chip, check a chip. Pro: copy a tag (the stored content, not the UID), write many numbered stickers (a base link plus 001, 002 and so on) with CSV export, a password for NTAG213/215/216 (others can still read it but cannot change it; the PIN cannot be recovered), and lock for good (type LOCK to confirm; this cannot be undone). HONEST ABOUT LOCKED CHIPS Bank cards, door passes and transit cards are encrypted. Tagnib shows only their chip type and does not try to read what is inside. HISTORY AND PRIVACY Every read and write goes to History. Free keeps the last 20; Pro keeps everything and exports CSV. History stays on your phone. No account and it works offline. Permissions: NFC, vibration, and alarms or Do Not Disturb only for recipes you run, plus the advertising ID, network and billing permissions of Google's ad and purchase libraries. Internet is used for ads, purchases, crash reports and a small settings file from our website. FREE AND PRO Reading and writing are free. Tagnib Pro is a one-time purchase with no subscription: all 12 recipes, the Pro tools, unlimited contact cards, full history and no ads. You can also try all of Pro for 24 hours by watching 2 short videos. ADS STAY OUT OF THE WAY The free version shows a banner under read results and in History. A full-screen ad may appear only after a successful write, never while you wait to read. WHO IT IS FOR An NFC reader writer for homes, cafés, shops and makers. Tagnib needs a phone with NFC. On a phone without NFC it tells you so and can still show your contact card as a QR code. Tagnib is made by Tinyfair and available in 12 languages, with light and dark themes. First release of Tagnib: read any NFC tag in one tap, and write links, Wi-Fi, contacts, text, phone numbers and map places to your own tags, with a check after writing.
