SyncWatch: Watch Together

SyncWatch lets nearby friends play the same local video file together — on a train, a road trip, or anywhere without internet — with playback kept perfectly in sync. How it works 1. One person turns on a Wi-Fi hotspot and hosts a room. 2. Friends connect to that hotspot (mobile data off). 3. The host picks a video already on their phone. 4. Everyone watches together. Play, pause, seek, and speed stay aligned. What you get • Local-only streaming — nothing is uploaded to the cloud • Live emoji reactions that everyone in the room can see • Host-controlled playback with visible speed control • QR code invite so joining takes seconds • Automatic conversion of oversized videos so more phones can play them • Screen stays awake while the video is playing Privacy by design SyncWatch has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no SyncWatch servers. Video and sync traffic stay on your local hotspot network. SyncWatch does not provide, download, or host any media catalogue. Only share video files that you own or have permission to use. Perfect for trains, flights, road trips, dorms, and other places where internet access is slow or unavailable.
