Lift a signature off paper into a transparent PNG. On-device, nothing uploaded.
Signature from Photo turns a signature you wrote on paper into a clean, transparent PNG you can drop onto a document. Sign a blank sheet, photograph it, and the app separates the ink from the paper right here on your phone. No account, no sign-up, and nothing is ever uploaded.
📷 Photograph it or draw it
• A framing guide with a signature line shows exactly what to fill
• Already have a picture? Import it with the system photo picker
• No paper nearby? Sign directly on screen with a finger or a stylus
• A small light toggle for dim rooms and shaded desks
✂️ Separate ink from paper
An adaptive threshold compares every pixel with its own neighbourhood, so a shadow falling across the page no longer swallows half the stroke. One sensitivity slider is all you adjust, and the preview follows as you drag it.
• Despeckle drops flecks, dust and paper grain
• An eraser brush wipes anything the slider left behind
• Everything stays reversible — move a slider back and the ink returns
🖋️ Adjust the ink
• Black, blue, or any colour you pick
• Thicker or thinner strokes, for fine ballpoints and broad markers alike
• Smoothing for clean edges when the signature is enlarged
• Choose the saved size: 600, 1200 or 2000 px on the long side
🗂️ A library of signatures
Keep as many as you like, each with a name — contracts, initials, the quick one. Rename, delete (with a confirmation, because it really is deleted), share the transparent PNG to any app, or copy it straight to the clipboard to paste somewhere else.
📄 Place it on a document
Open a photo or an image of the page, drag the signature where it belongs, pinch to resize and turn it, then export a flattened PDF or image through the share sheet. Existing PDF files cannot be opened and re-signed: the app works from photos and images of a document, and it says so on the screen where that matters.
🔒 Your signature stays yours
This is the part that matters most for an app like this one. Extraction runs entirely on your device. Saved signatures live in the app's own private folder — not in your gallery, not in a cloud, not on our servers, because we do not have any. The only Android permission requested is the camera, and only when you use it; importing a picture needs no permission at all. Uninstalling the app takes the signatures with it.
⚖️ What this app is not
It produces a picture of your signature. It is not a certified or legally binding electronic signature service, it does not verify anyone's identity, and it does not timestamp or seal a document. Whether a pasted signature image is acceptable is up to the person or organisation asking for it.
⚙️ Small things that help
• More than 30 interface languages, switchable inside the app
• Dark, high-contrast layout that stays readable in any light
• Works fully offline, including on a phone in airplane mode
✨ Free, with one optional upgrade
Everything above is free, supported by a small banner and an occasional full-screen ad. A one-time purchase removes ads forever; it is not a subscription.
Results depend on focus, lighting and the pen used. A dark, evenly lit stroke on plain paper gives the cleanest cut; pencil, very pale ink and heavily textured or printed paper are harder.
Novidades
Signing multi-page PDFs and checking recent documents just got easier.
• Apply the same spot to every page at once — no need to reposition on each page
• See your recently signed documents as small previews right in the library
• Documents whose original file is gone are shown dimmed
Signing multiple pages is now much faster.
