LumaScope: Lux Light Meter

LumaScope is a light meter that measures illuminance in lux or foot-candles and turns readings into live charts and a useful light history. Measure and understand Use your phone’s ambient light sensor, or estimate light with a reference-calibrated camera. See minimum, maximum and average readings, hold a value or take a quick four-second average. Follow changes with a live graph and personal target ranges. Keep a light journal Record sessions, pause and resume, or set a timer. Save readings every 1, 5, 10 or 60 seconds. Add a name, place, category and notes; search your history and mark favourites. Compare two saved records to see the difference, then export PDF reports or CSV data. Find a bright spot for your plants Create plant profiles, choose light targets and keep a measurement history. Estimate PPFD for a selected light source and calculate DLI. View a projection for your planned lighting hours separately from the light dose actually recorded. For LEDs, enter a fixture-specific conversion factor when available. Plan exposure for photo and video Explore EV, ISO, aperture, shutter speed and exposure compensation. Calculate ND-filter shutter times or video shutter speed from frame rate and shutter angle. Save settings for your next shoot. Offline by design Your measurements, notes, plants and settings stay on your phone. No account, ads, analytics or automatic cloud upload. A note on measurements: accuracy depends on your phone’s hardware and calibration. Camera illuminance requires a reference value and the same matte surface and arrangement. PPFD, DLI and exposure values are estimates. Background recording starts from the open app and uses an ongoing notification; Android restrictions can interrupt it.
