The document scanner finds the edges and straightens the page, then ReceiptZero reads the vendor, date and total for you. For Canada (CRA) and the United States (IRS), each receipt is checked for the details you need to keep — vendor, date, total, category — and missing items are flagged. Other countries use a record-only mode. Receipt dates are read in your own format (MM/DD or DD/MM), and unclear dates are flagged for you to confirm so nothing lands in the wrong tax year. REPORTS YOUR ACCOUNTANT CAN USE Export a tax year or a custom date range as: • a PDF with a summary, a receipt ledger and a page for each receipt image • a CSV with separate GST, HST, PST, QST and sales-tax columns Free exports carry a preview watermark (CSV exports show the first 10 receipts).
