A logic puzzle on a lighthouse coast. Place lenses so every white square is lit, no two lenses face each other along a row or column, and each numbered block touches exactly that many lenses. Rays fan out from every lens and fade with distance. Every board has a single answer. The keeper's rota for the night reads as follows. First watch · The race Race a lighthouse keeper on the very same puzzle. Harbour keeper takes a 7×7 board slowly, Coastguard works an 8×8 with steady hands and Head keeper clears a 9×9 at speed. Finish first for 20, 30 or 45 Points, or 5 for coming second. Middle watch · The tools Two tiles above the board compare your progress with the keeper's. Undo, Hint, Clear and Preview sit underneath. Tap to cycle lens, dot and empty, or hold for a dot. Morning watch · Pass and play Two to four players take turns on one seeded board of 7×7, 8×8 or 9×9, passing the device between them. Each hint adds 20 seconds and the fastest time leads the table. Forenoon watch · Workshop Spend Points on Zero sweep, extra Hint charges, the lens Preview tool and Head start, which makes the keeper wait three more seconds. Afternoon watch · Stats A bar chart of your last 10 races with the quickest marked, plus tiles for races, share finished first, boards, lenses placed, quickest times per size, hours on the board and hints. Dog watch · Quiz Ten questions per round from 24 real lighthouse facts, from Pharos and Bell Rock to Fresnel lenses, each with three choices and a note. Every correct answer adds a Point.
