CubeShot

CubeShot is an arcade shooter played in one tall well of seven columns. A wall of colored cubes hangs from the ceiling and moves down on a clock. Tap a column and your cube flies straight up and sticks under the lowest cube in it. Land it next to two or more cubes of its color and the group breaks. Cubes left hanging from nothing fall away for extra points. ONE TAP, ONE COLUMN - No angles and no bounces. The skill is picking the column and the order. - The wall drops one row at a time while you can shoot. If it reaches the red line, the run ends. - Every wave the drops come faster. SPECIAL CUBES AND COMBOS - Big breaks leave drills, lasers and bombs on the wall. A drill clears its whole column, a laser clears its row, a bomb clears a 3 by 3 area. - Set two of them off together for named combos: CROSS, TRIPLE ROW, BIG CROSS, STAR and MEGA. - Chain your breaks to charge the NUKE. Hold the button to preview it, release to wipe the wall. RESCUE LASERS When the wall gets close to the red line, a gold rescue laser can appear in the row that enters at the ceiling, right above a drill. Set off the drill: its beam climbs the column, hits the gold laser, cuts the ceiling row and the whole wall falls. BLAST AND SURGE - Strong play fills the BLAST meter. When it is full, fire a volley of rounds that each break the area they hit, any color, for double points. The last round is a 5 by 5 shockwave. - Once you have reached wave 10, SURGE turns on: after a warning, the wall lurches down several rows. Push it back up before the next drop to score SURGE HELD. DAILY SEED AND RANKS - Daily Seed: one board per day, the same for every player. It opens after you reach wave 10. - Online leaderboards through Google Play Games: Clean Score and Daily Seed. Clean Score leaves out points earned after any rewarded video, so ranks compare play, not ads. - RECORDS keeps your 10 highest runs, highest wave and biggest BLAST on your device. Switch SEND MY SCORES off and the game stops sending scores. - You can play offline. Scores wait on your device and are sent when you are back online. FOUR LOOKS Hologram, Candy, Brick Glazed and Brick Pixel. All four are open from your first run and restyle the cubes, the well and the stage. Change the look at any time on the Home screen. MUSIC THAT FOLLOWS THE RUN The soundtrack moves up through faster layers as the waves rise, and warning cues sound when the wall gets close. Headphones help. ADS AND PURCHASES - A banner ad is shown at the bottom of the screen, and a short ad can play between runs, at most once every few minutes and never during a run. - Rewarded videos are optional: watch one to continue a run or to fill the NUKE. - Optional one-time purchase: Supporter Pack, with 2 supporter color palettes and a SUPPORTER badge. It does not remove ads. Nothing you buy changes scores or ranks. Reminder notifications can be switched off at any time in Settings.
