Betano app oficial works out how much water your aquarium really holds, then uses that number for water changes, dosing and a weight estimate.
Betano app times width times height is only a starting point. It includes the glass, the substrate and the air gap under the rim, so it is often well above what is actually in the tank. Tankwise lets you enter what matters: the shape, inside or outside measurements, wall thickness, substrate depth and how far the water line sits below the rim. You get the gross volume and the net water, in liters and US gallons.
HOW IT WORKS
Add a tank once by picking its shape and typing the sizes, or start from a common nominal size and adjust it. A Betano app of the tank shows the front view with the substrate layer and water line, plus the footprint from above, so you can see at a glance that the numbers match the tank in front of you. Every tool then works from that tank's net water.
FEATURES
- Betano : rectangle, cube, cylinder, half cylinder, bow front and corner pentagon. The bow front is calculated as a circular arc and is marked as an approximation.
- Inside or outside sizes, with glass or acrylic wall thickness taken off each side and the bottom.
- Substrate depth and water line below the rim subtracted for the net volume.
- Water change by percent or by volume: how much to remove and refill, and how far the water line drops.
- Water change planner for 12 weeks with changes every 1 to 4 weeks, showing how much old water is left (for example 75 % after one 25 % change and about 32 % after four).
- Dosing: save products as "5 ml for every 40 liters" (ml, drops or grams, per liter or per US gallon) and see the dose for the whole tank and for the new water of a water change.
- Filled weight estimate: water (fresh or salt), walls and substrate, with adjustable substrate density, plus the load per square meter or square foot on the stand.
- Betano app hardness in dGH and ppm, and liters and US gallons.
- Up to 20 tanks and 30 products saved, metric or US units, and a plain-English guide.
Betano app has no account, no ads and no internet permission. Your tanks and products are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone, and a reset in Settings erases them.
