Read ceramic glazes, plan 🗺️ test tile blends and write kiln firing schedules.
Togim Quest Celda is a studio notebook for potters who mix 🥣 their own glazes. Keep your recipes in one place and read each one before it goes into the kiln.
Start 🚀 from ten ready-made starter recipes or type ⌨️ in a recipe of your own. For every glaze the app 📱 shows a reading on your clay body: the surface, how well it melts at your cone, whether it fits the clay or may craze, and whether the glass is stable. A green, amber or red mark on each glaze tells you at a glance.
Look deeper when you need to:
- See 👀 the unity formula with oxide limits, the composition and a colour forecast.
- Place a glaze on the Stull map 🗺️.
- Use Adjust to set a goal 🎯 such as lower expansion, and see 👀 the changed recipe with a before and after map 🗺️.
Blends help you plan 🗺️ test tiles. Choose a line, an addition sweep, a triaxial or a four-corner grid. Pick two to four glazes, set the cone and tile size, and the app 📱 lays out the tiles. Open any tile to see 👀 its mix 🥣, its reading and its recipe.
Firing plans turn your choices into a kiln program. Pick bisque or glaze, a cone, a kiln, the thickness of your ware and the load. Togim Quest Celda draws the temperature curve, lists each step with its rate, target 🎯 and hold, and gives the turning points and the time ⏱️ until the kiln is safe to unload. Add the glazes in the load to check ✅ that they suit the firing.
The Shelf lists your materials with their oxide numbers 🔢. Mark what you own, search 🔍 the list 📋, or add a material of your own.
Use Togim Quest Celda to check ✅ a recipe on paper, test blends with fewer surprises and plan 🗺️ each firing with care.
