Full Moon ?

Full Moon ? shows the phase of the Moon for today or any date you pick, and how much of it is lit. Instead of a simple icon you see the real Moon. The picture is built from NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter map, so Tycho, Copernicus, the dark seas and the bright highlands are exactly where you see them in the sky. The lit side, the soft shadow line and even the faint earthshine on the dark side are drawn for the exact date. Features • Moon phase and illuminated percentage for any date • Spin the date wheel to see past and future phases: new moon, crescent, first quarter, gibbous, full moon and last quarter • A realistic Moon made from real NASA imagery • The phase is calculated on your phone, no location needed • Simple and light, no sign-in • In 22 languages Handy for planning night photography, fishing, gardening by the Moon, stargazing, or just finding out when the next full moon is. Moon imagery: NASA/GSFC/Arizona State University.
