Mise

Take the guesswork out of meal preparation with Mise, the simple and intuitive kitchen companion that turns your phone into a magnetic whiteboard on your fridge door. Plan every step of your cooking session by creating prep tasks that you can move seamlessly from To Prep to In Progress and finally to Done. The Board view arranges your tasks as colorful magnetic cards across three taped columns, giving you an at-a-glance understanding of where each task stands. Switch to the List view to scroll through all your tasks, see status badges, and swipe to quickly edit or delete any item. Need to focus on today’s cooking effort? The Today tab brings up tasks you added today and shows a progress bar that fills as you complete each step. When a task is done, it automatically moves to the History logbook, where every completed task is saved with the time it was finished so you can review past sessions. Your dashboard grerts you with three glossy fridge magnets that display live counts of outstanding, active, and completed tasks, plus a recent activity list and a quick add button for capturing a new prep item in seconds. Every prep task you create can include an estimated time, personal notes about ingredients or techniques, and is stored safely on your device using local storage, so your data remains private and available even without an internet connection. You can search by task name to find any step instantly, and update a task’s status with a simple tap or by dragging its magnet card on the board. Mise is designed for home cooks, weekend meal preppers, and anyone managing a multi-step dinner, helping you stay organized from chopping through plating. Its clean, lightweight interface stays out of your way and lets you concentrate on the joy of cooking, not on remembering what comes next. No accounts, no subscriptions, and no cloud dependencies—just a straightforward prep board that feels as natural as jotting notes on your refrigerator door. Download Mise and bring the clarity of a professional mise en place to your home kitchen today.
