Block distracting apps and sites. Strike a pose to unlock and refocus
Opened social media for a moment and lost track of time?
PoseBlock is an app and website blocker with a different way to unlock: a short pose challenge. Move before you scroll, then decide how you want to spend your time.
MAKE ROOM FOR FOCUS
Choose the apps and websites you want to block. Set days and times around study sessions, work, or your daily routine.
STRIKE A POSE TO UNLOCK
A random pose appears when you start an unlock challenge. Follow the example in front of your camera. Discovering the next pose adds a little fun to your break.
UNDERSTAND YOUR SCREEN TIME
View app usage in charts and reflect on how you spend time on your phone. Use that perspective to shape your own routine.
PRACTICE AND SEE YOUR PROGRESS
Explore the pose list, practice poses, and revisit your scores and history. Make a short pose challenge part of your focus break.
Blocking and pose detection require device permissions. Available features vary by operating system and device. Choose movements that feel comfortable for you.
PoseBlock needs Android's AccessibilityService API to apply the app and website rules you choose. During an active block, it checks whether a selected app is open and, in supported browsers, reads the address bar to match a website rule. It then shows the block screen or pose challenge. These checks happen on your device. Page content, app names, website addresses, and browsing history are not sent to our servers. If you sign in, only your block count may be added to the global total.
