Tone Generator: Frequency Hz is an audio tone generator for your phone. Choose any frequency from 1 Hz to 22 kHz, press the big Play button under the dial and hear it right away. Pick a waveform — sine gives the cleanest tone. 2. Set the frequency with the arrows or semitone steps, or tap a preset. 3. Keep the volume low to start. 4. Tap the big Play button (or the dial). 5. Try a preset, a sweep, or a binaural beat. ▶ PRESETS Tinnitus masking tone, sleep, A4 440 Hz, subwoofer 60 Hz, bass strings E A D G, dog whistle, cat repel, a brainwave beat pack and solfeggio tones. New “Save as audio” button: save the current sound as a 10, 30 or 60 second WAV file and share or save it. Tuner: if microphone access was denied, “Start tuning” no longer does nothing; it explains why and shows “Open Settings”. Semitone buttons now land on real notes, and tapping the note opens “Pick a note”. Long-pressing a saved preset asks “Delete?” before deleting. On small screens the Hz input row stays above the keyboard.
