Soot & Summer: Pocket Pets

Meet Summer, an orange tabby, and Soot, a black cat: two free cats who live on your phone's screen, over whatever app you're using. They wander along the bottom, nap, groom, chase each other, climb the sides of the screen and curl up together. • Tap one for a hello, pet one for purrs and hearts, pick one up and carry it around, and let go to watch it land on its feet. • Send them to bed: they curl up in their bed in the corner and sleep until you tap it. • Turn the phone and their floor becomes a wall: they cling on or slide down. • Never in your way: when a keyboard opens, they turn Tiny and move to the very bottom. On Shy, one touch sends them off until you leave the phone alone. Touch Off (still in development) lets your taps go straight through them. Gaming mode starts on Auto: when a game or video fills the screen, they step aside, and come back when it ends. • Double-tap a pet to open an app you pick for it. • Photo booth: pose your pets and share the picture. • Light on battery: they rest most of the time and stop moving when the screen is off. • They can't see your screen or what you type.
