Brush & Bone: Fossil Lab

Brush & Bone is a 3D fossil preparation game. Every specimen arrives locked inside a block of rock. Brush away the soft sand, cut the hard rock with an air scribe or a chisel, and expose the bone without breaking it. Then lift the fossil, rebuild skulls and bones on their stands, and put them on display in your own museum. Work through eight real fossil sites around the world: • Atlas Mountains, Morocco — trilobites and ammonoids • Solnhofen, Germany — Archaeopteryx and a pterosaur • Green River, USA — fish, a turtle and an early bat • Sivalik Hills, India — a gharial skull and a Stegodon tusk • Liaoning, China — early birds and a feathered dinosaur • Gobi Desert, Mongolia — Velociraptor and Protoceratops skulls • Patagonia, Argentina — a titanosaur femur and a Glyptodon shell • Hell Creek, USA — Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus Features • 24 specimens, each with its own rock layers and bone layout • Three tools with real trade-offs: a gentle brush, a precise air scribe and a fast but risky chisel • A UV lamp that shows bone hidden under the surface • Integrity scoring: careless cuts leave cracks, and badly damaged pieces go on display as plaster casts • Rebuild skulls, jaws, tusks and shells piece by piece • A museum with eight rooms, labels with the real age and size of each fossil, and wall and plinth styles • Tool upgrades earned in play, never sold • No timers.
