Tuuba: Trivia Quiz Night

Everyone knows something. Find out who knows the most. Tuuba is trivia night on every phone. Faster right answers score more, the board shows who knew it first, and the final board shows who knew what best. Play against the clock or with a buzzer, beside the board game you already own, or one question a day while you're apart. Start a game and friends join with a five-letter code or a QR scan. Play on your own, as two, or with the whole table. How it plays • A question lands on every phone. Answer before the clock runs out. • Then: the answer, a short fact behind it, who knew it first, and the board so far. • A game is 20 questions, about 15 minutes. Keep going with 10 more, or end it and see the final board. Formats • Choice: four options, one of them right. • Rank: put five things in order. Every one in place scores. • Mixed: some of each. Timers • Speed: faster right answers score more. Three in a row adds a bonus. • Buzzer: only the first right answer scores. A wrong one sits you out. • Off: no clock. Every right answer scores the same. Pick how hard the questions get, from easy to hard. Anyone who needs more time to answer can turn it on for themselves. Kids, teens and adults Questions come in three levels: Kids, Teen and Adult. Set a level for each player in the lobby. With a board game, each player's turn uses their own level. On phones, everyone gets the same question, at the youngest level in the room. With a board game Playing a board game anyway? Let Tuuba ask the questions. Pick the category your piece landed on and Tuuba draws one. • Questions can be Choice, Rank or Spoken. With Spoken, a neighbour reads it out, sees the answer and calls it, and the table can challenge the call. • Turns: the next player, go again until you miss, or pass a miss round the table. • Scoring: points per right answer, first to finish takes the night, or both. • Give Tuuba's six domains the colours of your board's squares. • No phone? Add a pass-and-play player and pass the phone on their turn. On the TV Tap Cast in the lobby, then Any TV. Open the address it shows in the TV's browser, type the code the TV shows on your phone and tap Connect. Start the game: the TV shows each question, the answer and the final board. Where you're strong The final board shows who knew what best, domain by domain. Over many games Tuuba keeps your own report: how often you get each theme right, strongest first. A theme settles after 10 answers, and where you beat the Tuuba average, it shows you. It is about what you know, and nothing else. Clubs and standings Play with the same group twice and Tuuba makes you a club. The club keeps a board of right answers across your games, and as your answers build up, the result of a question shows where you stand all-time. Your profile keeps your stats and your clubs. Play apart When everyone goes home, keep the club going. One question lands on every phone in the club, daily, on weekdays or weekly, with 24 hours to answer.
