Messages: SMS Text & Home App

Texting shouldn't be complicated. Messenger keeps it simple: send a message, share a photo, record a quick voice note, and get on with your all day texting. But it also handles the things your default SMS app tends to forget. Ever meant to wish someone a happy birthday and remembered two days too late? Write the message now and schedule it to send exactly when you want. Changed your mind? Reschedule it, or cancel it before it goes out. Worried about someone picking up your phone? Lock messenger behind a 4-digit PIN so your conversations stay yours and nobody else's. And because there's nothing worse than losing years of messages, messenger lets you back everything up. Save an encrypted backup to Google Drive, or export your chats as TXT, CSV, or PDF whenever you need a copy you can keep. The rest is what you'd expect from a good messenger, just done properly: photos, GIFs, emojis, contacts, and voice messages, all from one tidy share menu. No clutter, no learning curve. Give it a try. messenger is the SMS app that finally feels like it was built for the way you actually text.
