Buscar Paraguay: Guide & Forum

Buscar is your guide to Paraguay: over 800 verified places, community events, and a forum where people who actually live here answer your questions. Free, no ads, and available in English, German and Spanish. Whether you already live in Paraguay, you are moving here, or you are still researching the country from abroad, Buscar shows you what is actually around you and connects you with people who had the same questions not long ago. RADAR: WHAT IS NEAR ME Set the radius in kilometres and the radar shows you places and events around your current location. Then filter for whatever you need right now: somewhere to eat tonight, a doctor near you, a currency exchange on the way home. Just as useful for everyday life in Asuncion as it is on a drive through the countryside. FORUM: ASK, AND GET REAL ANSWERS The community board is a forum with categories. Anyone can post a question and anyone can answer it. Where do I find an English speaking dentist? What should I check before buying property? Which builder in Cordillera is reliable? These are the questions you normally spend hours hunting for in a Paraguay forum. Here they get answered by people on the ground, in English, German and Spanish side by side. DIRECTORY: OVER 800 VERIFIED PLACES Restaurants, cafes and asados Doctors Lawyers Property and land Trades and services Supermarkets Hotels and places to stay Gyms Currency exchanges Sights and days out Every place comes with its address and contact details, and many also carry photos, ratings and comments from the community. Covering Asuncion, Encarnacion, Ciudad del Este, San Bernardino, Itaugua, Caacupe and plenty of smaller towns. GUARANI EXCHANGE RATES Check the current rates at the exchange houses before you set off, so you know what your euros or dollars are actually worth in guarani today. EVENTS AND MAP Find events happening near you and post your own. They show up in the radar alongside places, inside whatever radius you set. On the interactive map with GPS you can see property, doctors, restaurants and everything else around you at a glance. FAVOURITES AND ACCOUNT Save the places you want to come back to, leave ratings and upload your own photos. Buscar gradually becomes your own personal guide to the country. WHO BUSCAR IS FOR For locals, for people who have emigrated here, for travellers, and for anyone still working out what life in Paraguay looks like. The whole app runs in English, German and Spanish, and you switch language with one tap. Buscar is free, ad free and non commercial. It grew out of everyday life here in San Bernardino, because information about the country was scattered all over the place. It works because people join in: adding an address, leaving a rating, answering someone in the forum. Download Buscar and find your way around Paraguay.
