RPIIT Chat is the official messenger of RPIIT — made only for the RPIIT community: students, faculty, staff and the family members they invite. CHAT • One-to-one chats with classmates, faculty and staff • Photos, PDF / Word / Excel / PowerPoint documents, voice messages and location • Forward, star, react to and delete messages for everyone • Read ticks, typing and last seen GROUPS & NOTICES • Make your own groups for project teams, clubs and study batches • Announcement groups — only admins post, so official notices never get lost • Class groups for every batch, run by their mentors • Admins add members, make other admins and choose who can post CALLS • Voice and video calls over Wi-Fi or mobile data • Group calls with up to 6 people MORE • Status updates that disappear after 24 hours • Invite family members to the RPIIT family • Chat lock, disappearing messages, mute and block • Dark mode, theme colours and adjustable font size • Students can see their fee dues and pay online through the RPIIT ERP PRIVACY & SAFETY • Log in with the mobile number or email registered with RPIIT — a one-time code, no password • Mobile numbers and emails are never shown to other users • New chats start with a request the other person can accept, decline or block • Report any chat to the RPIIT admins • Delete your account from inside the app at any time Only people registered with RPIIT, or invited by an RPIIT member, can log in.
