Net Build

Net Build is a day planner for people whose free time arrives in fragments - between meetings, on a commute, during a nap window, on call. Instead of a blank calendar, you list the tasks you need to do with the minutes they really take, mark the free-time windows you actually have, and the app suggests what fits in each window, including the restart cost of picking a task back up. Everything you plan stays on your device in a local database. There is no account, no sign-in, and no cloud sync, and you can erase all of your data at any time from Settings. What you get: - Honest task sizing: give every task an estimate, a minimum useful chunk, and a restart overhead, so a 15-minute gap is never promised to a task that needs 20 minutes just to get back into. - Split rules you control: mark tasks as splittable or as must-finish-in-one-go, and the planner respects that when it fills your day. - Time windows that behave like real life: create windows with quick length presets (8, 12, 20, or 35 minutes), get warned about overlaps before saving, abandon a window with a reason, or duplicate it to another day. - A matching engine, not a lottery: tasks are scored against each window into perfect fit, compromise, and no-fit groups, using weights you can tune for capacity, overhead, urgency, and priority. - Focus sessions that survive restarts: start, pause, and resume a timer backed by a local database, record the minutes that were actually productive, and leave a note for where to pick up next time. - Automatic carryover: unfinished work moves its remaining minutes and your resume note into future windows, so nothing quietly disappears. - History and insights: compare planned versus actual time, see how much of your window capacity you actually used, and spot where your days leak time.
