Naija Swallows

Naija Swallows is the companion app for the Naija Swallows food festival. THE PROGRAMME, EVEN WITH NO SIGNAL Cooking demonstrations, tastings and stage times arrive on your phone over Bluetooth from equipment on site, so a marquee or a packed hall with no usable signal does not leave you guessing. When a slot moves or a vendor sells out, the change reaches you where you are standing. THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU A lot of the room is vendors, caterers and cooks who came to meet each other. The app tells you when someone nearby is worth saying hello to, based on what you each chose to share. Connect and message inside the app; your number stays yours. WHAT YOU NEED The app installed and Bluetooth on. Programme content is delivered by the organiser's equipment at the venue, so away from the festival those areas may be empty. PRIVACY The sensitive parts do not need to leave your phone, and messages between people nearby travel directly, device to device. Block, report and delete are first-class: Profile -> Delete Account removes your account and your data. Naija Swallows does not verify anyone's real-world identity. There is no document check and no KYC. A credential in this app says an account controls a handset. It does not say who is holding it.
