Build virtual Pico circuits and explore electronics with on-device MicroPython.
Explore electronics with PicoLab, a virtual circuit workbench for Raspberry Pi Pico projects.
BUILD AND EXPERIMENT
Place a Pico on a virtual breadboard, add components and connect wires. Start with a guided build or create your own circuit. Explore LEDs, buttons, resistors and piezo experiments without physical hardware.
SEE HOW CIRCUITS WORK
Use the 2D board or explore your circuit in 3D. Inspect supported voltages, currents and wiring faults, then change a connection and see what happens.
TRY MICROPYTHON ON ANDROID
Write and run supported MicroPython code on your device to experiment with Pico GPIO and PWM. Switch to Code preview to illustrate recognised code patterns, or turn code off to explore basic circuits.
KEEP YOUR PROJECTS
Save, rename and duplicate projects on your device. Import and export editable JSON projects, and import supported KiCad XML netlists. Use the Pico pin guide and reference links when planning your next build.
KNOW THE LIMITS
PicoLab is an educational simulation with simplified electrical models. It is not a SPICE simulator or a guarantee that a real circuit is safe. Some Pico features, including ADC, I2C and NeoPixel execution, are not supported by the on-device MicroPython runtime. Check component ratings and official documentation before connecting physical hardware.
PicoLab is an independent learning app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Raspberry Pi.
