4PDFs turns paper into PDFs you can search and copy text from. Scan a letter, a bill, a book page or a passport, and the PDF keeps the page as you see it with its words underneath, so your PDF viewer can find them. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • 4PDFs has no internet permission. It cannot send your documents anywhere. • The words are read on your phone. Nothing goes to a server, ours or anyone else's. • No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. SCANNING • Google's document scanner finds the page, straightens it and lets you crop, rotate, filter and clean it. Scan many pages into one PDF. • Already have a photo of a document? Pick it from your gallery in the scanner and it is cropped and straightened the same way. • 4PDFs needs no camera or photo permission: the scanner shows you the camera, and 4PDFs only receives the pages you keep. THE PDF YOU WANT • Page size: A4, A5, A3, Letter, or the document's own size. Passports, ID cards and receipts get their true size, on their own page or on an A4 sheet like a photocopy. • Split an open book's two pages into two PDF pages. • Greyscale, black and white, or colour, with the quality and resolution you choose. • Turn text recognition off for a plain image PDF. • Each scan can have its own page size and file name. YOUR FILES, WHERE YOU WANT THEM • Scans wait in 4PDFs' library until you export them to any folder or app the system file picker offers. • Keep the library on internal storage, an SD card, or a folder of your choice. • Keep the original captures, or not, as you prefer. Copy raw captures to a folder for other tools.
