Simple decibel meter

iDecibel turns your phone into a capable sound level meter. It reads the microphone's least-processed signal and measures with A, C or Z frequency weighting and Fast or Slow time weighting per IEC 61672, showing the live level, Leq, minimum, maximum, peak and L10/L50/L90, plus the noise dose and 8-hour level for A-weighted runs. A live 1/3-octave spectrum shows where the noise comes from, and a level alarm vibrates and turns the reading red when your threshold is crossed. Measuring carries on with the screen off or another app in front. Every run is filed automatically as a recording, a chart and a CSV that you can annotate with the place, search, play back, share and print. Calibrate against a reference meter, choose from five chart color schemes, 35 display fonts and 50 languages, and enjoy layouts made for foldables and tablets.
