Where's My Money? is a minimalist app for income and expenses. Most budgeting apps and expense trackers expect you to log every payment for months before you can see anything. It shows the structure of your finances: salary, rent, bills, insurance, savings, leisure. Add smaller items whenever they come to mind. Nothing is tied to a date, so there is nothing to miss. ■ Cash flow and balances Cash flow shows what comes in and goes out each month or year. Balances show, alongside it, what you have right now and what you still owe: assets such as savings, investments or money you have lent, and debts such as loans or money you have borrowed. Rough figures, like everything in WMM. ■ What's left of your gross pay WMM can also show the path from gross to net. Add taxes, social security and other deductions directly to your income entry, with the gross amount from your payslip if you like. A single toggle switches both Cash flow and the Sankey diagram between gross and net, and the deductions list shows whether everything matches your payslip. If take-home pay is all you need, just skip this.
