Spadehall: Classic Spades

Spadehall: Classic Spades is a partnership card game for one player. You sit South at a felt table with Mira as your partner across from you, and two opponents on either side. Bid the number of tricks you expect your team to win, then play the 13 tricks and try to make the contract. Spades are trumps. Follow the suit that was led when you can. A spade cannot be led until a spade has been played, unless the house rules switch that rule off, and a spade beats a card of any other suit. Scoring follows the standard partnership rules. A made contract scores 10 points for each trick bid, and each extra trick is a bag. Ten bags cost 100 points, and the bag count stays on the score bar. A nil bid, where you try to win no tricks at all, is worth 100 points when it succeeds. Blind nil is bid before you look at your cards, and it can be switched on in the house rules. Quick game: choose the opponents' level (Easy, Normal, Hard or Expert), the target score (250, 300 or 500) and the house rules. The house rules cover nil bids, blind nil, bags, whether spades must be broken before they are led, the first trick, and the floor at minus 200. Mira plays at the Expert level in every game, so a nil is always covered by a partner who plays to cover it. Hall tour: fifteen matches in five halls, each against a named pair of opponents. A match is won by reaching its target. It earns one to three stars, and stars are kept for good. Each match opens when the one before it is won. Daily deal: one hand with the same deal for everyone on the same date, scored against a par. A calendar shows your stars for each date and your current streak. Bid advice: on the bid screen, tap the advice button to see the bid that the Expert level would make for your hand, with the reasons. It is free against Easy opponents. Otherwise it is an optional video offer, labelled as an ad, and it is offered up to five times a day. Replay hand: after a hand that went wrong, you can play the same deal again. It is an optional, labelled video offer, once in each game. Statistics show your games, wins, bids, nil and bag results for each variant and each opponent level. Premium adds the Mirror, Whiz, Solo and Jokers variants for quick games. Mirror and Whiz change how bids are made, Solo has four players who each score alone, and Jokers adds the two jokers as the highest trumps. Premium also adds six card backs and six felts, and it changes no deal, score or AI level. Settings turns sound, music, haptics and reduced motion on or off, sets the game speed, and offers one-tap play, four-colour suits and a replay of the tutorial. Every card, seat and bid button has a text label for screen readers. Spadehall is for adults aged 18 and over. It has no account, no sign-in and no chat. The game is free to play and contains ads. Remove Ads turns off the full-screen ads between hands and games. Remove Ads and Premium are one-time purchases through Google Play. Nothing of value is won or lost in the game, and nothing can be bought with points.
